I am a 40+ ”single adoptive Guatemomma by choice” and lovin’ every minute of it.
This blog is for Savanna, my beautiful baby girl. It’s really a journal of how I became her “Mom” and how she changed my life. And, boy has she changed it! One day this blog will be published for her. (And it might just contain some needed “blackmail” material for those lovely teen years. A parent must always be forward thinking and prepared, right?)
Please feel free to leave comments or email me at: etsybay65@yahoo.com. I love to meet new people. I have met many wonderful people via “blogland” and have made friendships that will last a lifetime.
Thank you for visiting.
Hi, I found your site via Angel’s. I thought what you wrote about kids getting prepared for a racist world was very important and true.
I am also a single mom to two adoptive baby girls from Guatemala! I just started a blog on my doll company under Precious Baby Doll Company.
Your daughter is beautiful and I loved your tribute to our wonderful leader!

Betsy,
I just stumbled onto your blog and am looking forward to sitting down to take some time to read about your journey.
Your daughter is just beautiful and looks to be a very happy little girl.
I have created a blog for the same reasons you mentioned… wanting to journal the journey of our adoption story for the little girl we hope to bring home soon… and for our almost 5 year old big boy as he is just a very big part of this decision! Anyway, it helps to get it all down… and I am just now beginning to find other mamas who have a clue about this wild ride we have embarked upon, and I am so glad to be able to reach out.
Thanks for sharing.
Beth
