Savanna saw her doctor on 10/3/2005 for her 2 month check up. Her height is now 22.047 inches, her weight is 8.14 lbs, and her head circumference is 14.17 inches. She still drinks Similac Advance for her meals. Savanna loves for her foster mother to sing and talk to her. She smiles a lot. She [...]

Happy 2 month old birthday Savanna!! I love you and can’t wait to bring you home. Your Auntie Karen finished making the curtains for your room (see ”Album”). They are beautiful. Your Granny had to make sure the curtains and valance lay perfectly. Now I need to find a rug that will match.

I spoke to the gal at the adoption agency yesterday. Savanna and her bio mother were given a blood test which is a requirement in Guatemala. This is done to prevent baby trafficking (babies were actually stolen from their mothers and sold to prospective adoptors).
